Book us for a STEM fair or private workshop

Are you interested in having SoundBio Lab at your school’s science night? Or maybe a private workshop at our lab space for you and your friends or colleagues? We have experience delivering fun science experiences for people from age 6 and up.

Our expert volunteers are happy to help share our passion for science, and at the same time you will not only be getting an awesome and educational experience but also helping to support our community science space and all of our programs.

We typically charge around $500 for a private event, though this depends on the length, complexity, and desired activities for the event. Please fill out our interest form and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Our science outreach events are led by enthusiastic volunteers who will design, provide supplies, and lead engaging activities tailored to the age group of your students.

Example activities

DNA EXTRACTIONS

Students will be led through a DNA extraction using strawberries and common household items (salt, dish soap, and rubbing alcohol). Review this important biomolecule with this hands-on activity.

FOLDSCOPE EXPLORATION

Equip your students with foldable microscopes that will allow them to explore the world around them.
